The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a Spring Drug Take Back Event on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  Please come to the Sheriff’s Office to drop off any old and unwanted drugs.

BRING: Prescription (controlled and non-controlled) and over-the-counter medications, ointments, inhalers, patches, non-aerosol sprays, creams, vape cartridges and devices (with batteries removed), vials and pet medications.

DO NOT BRING: Illegal drugs, needles/sharps, mercury thermometers, aerosol cans, biohazardous materials (anything containing a bodily fluid or blood), flares, personal care products (shampoo, soaps, lotions, sunscreens, etc.…), household hazardous waste (paint, pesticides, chemicals, oil, or gas), acids or any vape devices containing batteries of any kind.

*** Participants may dispose of solid, non-liquid medication(s) by removing the medication from its container and disposing of it directly into a disposal box or into a clear sealable plastic bag. Blister packages are acceptable without the medications being removed. ***
